    • How are you?

    The individual parts are glued together with waterproof wood glue or waterproof superglue. It's best to give the shaving brush a day to dry. To care for the olive wood handle, we recommend one treatment with hard oil or two treatments with olive oil. The shaving brush should then be given a good day to dry. This provides protection against moisture and guarantees that you can enjoy your shaving brush for a long time.

    After use, rinse the wood with warm water and optionally a little detergent. Never leave the wood in water for a long time.
    Your holivio product will thank you if you dry it with a tea towel shortly after your shower.
    Rub the wood with a little olive or linseed oil every now and then to prevent the olive wood from drying out.

    Bei guter Pflege viele Jahre. Nach der Rasur Seifenreste gründlich ausspülen, ausschütteln und kopfüber in einem Pinselhalter trocknen lassen. So bleibt das Haar formstabil und der Olivenholzgriff steht nicht im Wasser.

    Sehr hart: Olivenholz erreicht eine Janka-Härte von rund 12.000 Newton und ist damit etwa doppelt so hart wie Buche oder Eiche. Mit einer Dichte von rund 980 kg/m³ zählt es zu den schwersten europäischen Hölzern. Bei richtiger Pflege halten Produkte aus Olivenholz viele Jahre bis Jahrzehnte.

    Das Olivenholz stammt aus dem gesamten Mittelmeerraum. Verarbeitet wird es in der holivio-Manufaktur in Deutschland – in Handarbeit und aus unbehandeltem Olivenholz. Weil Olivenholz extrem hart und langlebig ist, hält ein Produkt bei guter Pflege viele Jahre; das ist nachhaltiger als Kunststoffartikel, die häufig ersetzt werden.
